The NSO Symposium
The 2018 NSO Symposium will be held on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 in Ottawa at the Lord Elgin Hotel.
The first morning will be closed meetings of Ontario's newborn screening network. The Symposium will start at noon on the 31st. The themes of the symposium are:
- Impact of screening on treatment and follow up
- Equity and accessibility
- Unique newborn screening paradigms

Registration is now open. We are pleased that we are able to provide registration at no charge. The deadline to register is May 18th. Please click here to complete your registration.
A limited number of rooms are available at the Lord Elgin Hotel. Please reserve early. The room block is only available until April 26, 2018 while quantities last.
Continuing Education Credits
This conference has been approved by the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CAGC) for 5.33 CECs and it has been submitted to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) for approval of Category 1 CEUs. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) accepts CEUs approved by NSGC for purposes of recertification. Approval for the requested CEUs and Contact Hours is currently pending.
