Newborn Screening Ontario Symposium

NSO invites you to share your knowledge and expertise at the upcoming Newborn Screening Ontario Symposium. Abstracts are now being accepted for in-person plenary and poster presentations during the event.  

This year’s theme, Modern Challenges of Newborn Screening, encourages submissions that explore innovations, barriers, and solutions in the evolving landscape of newborn screening. Posters may focus on one topic area and highlight current challenges and problems. 

We welcome submissions from healthcare professionals, researchers, laboratory staff, and others involved in newborn screening and related fields. 

Please verify that each field in the abstract form has been completed and follow the instructions given below. The Scientific Planning Committee will review your abstract, and you will be informed of the outcome by July 4.

Submission Deadline:

• June 22, 2025, 11:59pm 

How to Submit:

• Submit your abstract using our online form.
• Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and include the presenter’s name, affiliation, and contact information. 

Poster Guidelines: 

• Posters will be presented in person during the symposium.
• Presenters must be available during their assigned session to discuss their work.
